This project was carried out for a National Oil Company (NOC) in North Africa. Prior to mobilisation, IPS's engineering team firstly simulated the target well under AutoBooST Gas lift to confirm a positive response. Next, an AGX-150 system was mobilised to site, where the gas lift performance was proven on a single well, thereafter the gas lift system was extended to three (3) wells. The AutoBooST® (AGX-150) Technology was installed for one year, the time to confirm simulated results and build the permanent gas lift network lines. Pilot allowed boosting the energy of 3 wells simultaneously.
During The project preparation, several challenges were faced : • Well Conditions: Absence of gas lift mandrel in the well, velocity string alternative was adopted.
The AutoBooST® Technology was installed downstream Well A Well as first step of the project, which was producing initially 300 bbl/d. The flow was separated, and the gas was reinjected in to another well: Well B (Idle Well), the flow from Well A & Well B are metered at the separator and data showed an increase of production of 543 bbl/d. At a later stage of the operation, the gas excess was diverted to Well A then to a third well: Well C, and this gave us an additional gain of 300 bbl/d from each well.
